We have just finished our first season in OCM starting on Day 26 and we are very happy wiith the results! We ended the season with 3 wins , 10 results and a lot more top 9 finishes , but the greatest achievement was training our first captain from within our own ranks 22yo Declan Pieters to 45 AV (unmaxed) !
The reason Declan's training was put on hold until further notice is because of the late discovery of a great sprint talent in our own backyard 25yo Jason Jooste. Yes he is 25yo but with the potential to be the next great JJ of sprinting we had to start training him asap !
The goals for S21 is to get from D8 to D5 and compete in our first tour FOW this season . We did have a slight setback to the start of the season though with Declan getting injured in his last race of S20 , but he will be back soon to lead the team to D5 and beyond !

We are still busy with interviews to appoint a PR manager , so the first press release was written by me ...

Thanks for the advice guys! Declan is maxed in Cl,DH and HL , so only need to max his FR and SP which will make him a good tour rider , so will do that before I get to D5 ! Declan : Potential:

Well done. Good start and lots of good advice. However, very tough with the two talents that you have found. You have made more good decisions than bad, have a great S21.

always focus on 1 rider and 1 speciality, unless you have enough money and riders to create a second 6 rider team. I would go full for climbing and sell your sprinting talent
When I first started the game I didn't know what to do. I figured I would have one of each. LOL
Then I found out that was the wrong approach so i fired 3/4 of the team and started over again with a sprint team.
I'm still trying to build a team around the best rider and I'm hoping for better riders so i can replace him.
It takes a long time. :)

.....started. i went in different directions and ended up wasting time and money. stay on one path. That looks to be climbing for you.

Finish training Declan first. He looks like he will be a very good leader for your team.
You have the beginnings of a very good climbing team so why do you want to go in the opposite direction and have a sprint team?
If you start training a sprinter he will not have any team support. Declan looks like he has the makings of team support.

Nice rider Declan! You say he's unmaxed so I'm curious about his potentials... Would you like to share his potentials to the world?
nice, personally i would finish training declan as your top star. He is going somewhere and now you have to start all over.
